Terms and Conditions

Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:

“the Agreement” – means the agreement between the Company and the Customer.

“the Company” – means M6 Fire Safety.

“Fee” – means the Fee payable by the Customer.

“Representative” – means an employee or subcontractor.

“Services” – means the services detailed in this document.

Application and Entire Agreement

  1. These Terms apply to all services provided by M6 Fire Safety.
  2. You accept these Terms upon booking or service delivery.
  3. No external representations are relied upon.
  4. These Terms override all others.
  5. Changes must be agreed in writing.

Interpretation

  1. Business day = Mon–Fri excluding bank holidays.
  2. Premises refers to the property assessed.
  3. Headings do not affect interpretation.

Services

  1. We provide services with reasonable care and skill.
  2. Services are subject to quotation and confirmation.
  3. We aim to meet agreed timelines.
  4. Terms apply to goods and services.

Your Obligations

  1. You must provide access, permissions, and safe conditions.
  2. Failure may result in cancellation fees.
  3. We are not liable for delays caused by you.

Fees

  1. Fees are outlined in your quote and confirmation.
  2. Out-of-hours work must be agreed separately.
  3. Travel and accommodation may be charged.
  4. We may request upfront payment.
  5. Additional work may incur extra charges.
  6. Cancellation fee: 50% of service fee.
  7. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.

Cancellation and Amendment

  1. Quotes valid for 30 days unless withdrawn.
  2. Orders may be cancelled before acceptance.
  3. Changes require 1 business day notice.
  4. We may adjust services if required.

Payment

  1. Invoices issued after service completion.
  2. Payment due within 7 days.
  3. Invoice disputes must be raised within 7 days.
  4. Late payments incur 8% interest.
  5. No deductions or set-offs allowed.
  6. Services may be suspended for non-payment.
  7. Receipts on request.
  8. Payments in GBP.

Termination

  1. We may terminate if you breach terms or fail to pay.

Liability

Our total liability is limited to the fees paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control.

Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
